Hi, I’m Elina, a primal health coach, biohacker, and someone who’s been on both sides of the health struggle.

I’ve always wanted more than just surviving.

But for a long time, I didn’t know how to get there.

As a kid, I got bullied for being too skinny. That made me dislike how I looked, and I grew up hating my body. But instead of obsessing over it, I disconnected from my body. I ignored it, neglected it, and didn’t really feel at home in it.

In my early 20s, I slipped into emotional binge eating. I had nothing to lose. Gaining weight felt like a rebellion. But instead of finding peace, I felt worse. Exhausted, inflamed, anxious. My face looked puffy, my energy was gone, and mornings felt like hell.

 

The truth is, my body was screaming, but I didn’t know how to listen.

I numbed out in quiet ways: food, overthinking, scrolling, wine, joint after work. Deep down, I knew I wasn’t thriving. But I convinced myself this was just how adulthood was supposed to feel: tired, disconnected, constant grind.

The Wake-Up Call (2018)

It wasn’t one big crash. It was a quiet moment: a photo with my family. I looked at it and didn’t recognize myself. I felt shame. My body didn’t feel or look like mine anymore. Something had to change.

That same year came the hike. A simple trail I should’ve handled, but I barely made it through a snowstorm to the shelter. No energy, not even for the things I loved dearly. That moment shook me.

And that’s when I knew - if I didn’t change, it would get only worse and the life would slip through my fingers.

Rebuilding from the Ground Up

I started slow. Gentle movement. Small shifts in food. A little more calm. I became my own experiment.

I quit my job. I moved to New Zealand. I reconnected with nature, real food, and movement. My weight shifted, my mood lifted, and my nervous system softened. For a while, I felt amazing.

But in 2020, I swung too far in the other direction - overtraining, working a physical job, following a trendy plant-based diet that left me depleted. I thought I was doing everything right, but my body was inflamed and tired all over again.

I had simply traded one kind of stress for another and my body was showing it.

Coming Home to My Body

Eventually, I stopped following trends and started listening to my body.

I let go of trying to fix myself and focused on rebuilding trust with my body, my instincts, and my energy.

That’s when everything changed.

The anxiety lifted. My inflammation went down. I felt grounded, clear, and strong again. And not in a performative, hustle way, but in a natural, sustainable way.

Who I Help Today

I work with individuals who are burned out by “health” routines that don’t work, exhausted by modern life, and disconnected from their true rhythm.

  • And the radical act of listening, speaking and loving your body
